1890 RES CITY COUNCIL IN RES NO 1797 ACCEPT FAA GRANT OFFERRESOLUTION N0. 1890 ,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore
in Resolution No. 17.97 accept FAA Grant Offer, in the amount of
$145, 884. 00, which became Project No, 6-48-0169-04, which provided
for Phase 2 of "Overlay and Mark Old Portion of Runway 17-35
(4500' x 150' and,
WHEREAS, thereafter in Resolution No. 1835, Amendment No. 1
to said Grant Agreement was accepted on the 14th day of November,
1977; and,
WHEREAS, funding is available to expand such project to in-
clude the expansion of the apron by approximately 6, 100 square
yards an~ overlay T-hangar Taxiway, and it is to the best interest
of the City of Paris to expand such project by approving Amendment
No. 2 to Grant Agreement for such project, in the form attached
hereto as Exhibit A; NOW,1~-1EREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the City of Paris does hereby accept the provisions of
Amendment No. 2 to Grant Agreement for Project No. 6-48-0169-04,
a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated
herein for all purposes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City Manager,
Robert W. Sokoll, be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to
execute such amen~ment on behalf of the City of Paris.

AMENDMENT N0. 2 TO GRANT AGREEMENT FOR PROJECT N0. 6-48-0169-04
WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration (hereinafter referred to as
the "FAA") has determined it to be in the interest of the United States
that the Grant Agreement between the FAA, acting for and on behalf of the
United States, and the City of Paris (hereinafter referred to as the
"Sponsor"), accepted by said Sponsor on the 29th day of Ma.rch, 1977, be
amended as hereinafter provided.
NOW THEREFORE, WITNESSETH: ~
That in consideration of the benefits to accrue to the parties hereto, the
FAA on behalf of the United States, on the one part, and the Sponsor, on
the other part, do hereby mutually agree that the work description of the
said Grant Agreement is revised to read as follows: .
Phase Z of: "Overlay and mark Runway 17-35 (6,000' X 150')"; ~
expand apron (approx. 6,100 s.y.}; overlay T-hangar taxiway.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this Amendment to
said Grant Agreement to be duly executed as of the 25th day of September, 1978.
