1781 RES TX POWER & LIGHT CO ON DECEMBER 22 1976 FILED RATE REQUEST WITH COPRESOLUTION N0, 1781 ,
WHEREAS, Texas Power & Light Company did on December 22,
1976 file a rate request with the City of Paris; and ,
WHEREAS, such request requires extensive study; and,
WHEREAS, the laws of the State of Texas require that the
City of Paris, acting as a regulatory authority, hold a hearing after
notice of a major change has been filed; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Paris may suspend the operation of the
schedule for a period not to exceed 120 days beyond the date on which
the schedule of rates would otherwise go into effect; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the operation of the schedule of rates filed by Texas
Power & Light Company on the 22nd day of December, 1976, be, and
the same is hereby suspended.
