1767 RES CITY COUNCIL AT REGULAR MEETING ON 12TH DAY OF JULY 1976 APPROVED ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDSRESOLUTION NO. 1767 ,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did at a
regular Council Meeting, on the 12th day of July, 1976, approve the
advertisement for bids for furnishing and installing a Sanitary
Sewer Force Main consisting of approximately 2300 linear feet of
10 inch class 150 composite fiber glass pressure pipe and appurte-
nances, in accordance with detailed plans and specifications dated
July 1976, which bids were received until 10:00 o'clock A. M. ,
Wednesday, August 4, 1976; and,
WHEREAS, the best bid for said project was made by
David Buster, d/b/a David Buster Construction Company, and he
should be awarded the contract for such project; and,
WHEREAS, the form of contract to construct said project is
attached hereto as Exhibit A; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the bid of David Buster, d/b/a David Buster Construction
Company, to furnish and install Sanitary Sewer Force Main consisting
of approximately 2300 linear feet of 10 inch class 150 composite fiber
glass pressure pipe and appurtenances, within 30 calendar days, in
the amount of $22, 609. 00, is hereby accepted and let, conditioned
upon said contractor meeting all of the terms and specifications in-
cluded in the bid documents; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City Manager of the
City of Paris, Kerry R. Sweatt, be, and he is hereby authorized and
directed to execute on behalf of the City of Paris, the contract for
the above described work, upon the terms and conditions and in the
form shown in Exhibit A attached hereto.
