1751 RES CITY COUNCIL IS AWARE THAT ITS MUNICIPAL AIRPORT IS IN NEED OF IMPROVEMENTSRESOLUTION NOo 1751 .
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas,
is aware of the fact that its municipal airport is in need of improve-
ments in the form of hangar apron and taxiway; and,
WHEREAS, in order to finance such improvements, it is
necessary for the City of Paris to avail itself of funds made available
through grants by the Texas Aeronautics Commission; NOW, THERE-
FORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the City of Paris process an application for
grant from the Texas Aeronautics Commission to
assist in financing the project entitled "Construct
hangar apron, and taxiway", at a total cost of
$24, 300. 00, $12, 150. 00 to be furnished by T. A. C.
and $12, 150. 00 to be furnished by the City of Paris,
2. That Kerry R. Sweatt, City Manager, be, and he is
hereby authorized and directed to execute and de-
liver, on behalf of the City of Paris, the necessary
applications, communications, instruments, assur--
ances and documents necessary for the completion
of said project.
