1748 RES CITY COUNCIL AT ITS MEETING ON 8TH DAY OF MARCH 1976 APPROVED ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDSRESOLUTION NO. 1748 ,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did at its
Council Meeting on the 8th day of March, 1976, approve the adver -
tisement for bids for Agricultural Lease, Cox Field, in accordance
with detailed specifications, which bids were received until 10:00
o'clock A. M. , Wednesday, April 7, 1976; and,
WHEREAS, the best bid for said agricultural lease was made
by AGPRO, INC. , and it should be awarded the lease; and,
WHEREAS, the form of such lease is attached hereto as
Exhibit A; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the bid of AGPRO, INC, for the Agricultural Lease,
Cox Field, in the amount of $500. 00 for the first year, $500. 00 for
the second year, $500.00 for the third year, $500.00 for the
fourth year and $5, 500. 00 for the fifth year, and $12, 500. 00 per
year for the first five (5) year option and $18, 500. 00 per year for
the second five (5) year option, is hereby accepted and let; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City Manager of the
City of Paris, I<erry R. Sweatt, be, and he is hereby authorized and
directed to execute on behalf of the City of Paris, the agricultural
lease with AGPRO, INC. for Cox Field, upon the terms and condi-
tions and in the form shown in Exhibit A attached hereto.
Passed and adopted this 12th day of April, 1976.
