1739 RES COP AGREES TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT WITH ARK-TEX COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTSRESOLUTION NOo 1739
WHEREAS, the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, agrees to enter
into an agreement with the Ark-Tex Council of Governments to
apply for a grant to the Texas Criminal Justice Division of the
Governor's Office for the cost of one year's maintenance for the
Departments using the High Speed Landline Communications System;
and,
WHEREAS, the application for maintenance is based on the
Texas Criminal Justice Division's participation of 8570 and local
participation in the amount of 1570; and,
WHEREAS, the Texas Criminal Justice Division has agreed to
make such grants available on a retroactive basis from November l,
1975 through October 31, 1976; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the City Manager of the City of Paris, be, and he is
hereby authorized and directed to execute such agreements and
assurances as are necessary for the continuation and acceptance
of the High Speed Landline Communications System maintenance
applications.
