1724 RES CITY COUNCIL AT ITS MEETING ON 10TH DAY OF NOVEMBER 1975 APPROVED ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDSRESOLUTION NO. 1724 .
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did at itS
Council Meeting on the lOth day of November, 1975, approve the
advertisement for bids for furnishing and delivery of four (4) new
1976 automobiles for the City of Paris Police Department
accordance with detailed specifications dated November, 1975,
which bids were received until 10:00 0' clock A. M., Wednesday,
December 3, 1975; and,
WHEREAS, the best bid for said equipment was made by
Bob McDougall Olds. Cad., Inc., Paris, Texas, and it should be
awarded the contract for such equipment; and,
WHEREAS, the form of contract to furnish such equipment is
attached hereto as Exhibit A; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the bid of Bob McDougall Olds. Cad. , Inc. , to furnish
four (4) new 1976 automobiles for the City of Paris Police Department,
said equipment to be delivered within 40 calendar days, in the amount
of $11, 522, is hereby accepted and let, conditioned upon said con-
tractor meeting all of the terms and conditions included in the bid
documents; and,
BE IT FURTHER RES.~OLVED, That the Mayor of the City of
Paris, James M. Brunette, be, and he is hereby authorized and di-
rected to execute on behalf of the City of Paris, the contract with
Bob McDougall Olds. Cad. , Inc. , to furnish and deliver four (4) new
1976 automobiles for the City of Paris Police Department, upon the
terms and conditions and in the form shown in Exiriibit A attached
hereto.
