1720 RES BEEN CALLED TO THE ATTENTION OF CITY COUNCIL THERE IS AN ALLEY BEGINNING AT WEST BOUNDARY LINE OF 9TH ST NWRESOLUTION NO. 1720 .
WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City Council
of the City of Paris that there is an alley, beginning at the West
Boundary Line of 9th Street, N. W. , at the South East Corner of Lot 5,
City Block 51, and the North East Corner of Lot 6, City Block 51, being
15 feet wide and extending in a Westerly direction approximately 265
feet, more or less, to the East Boundary Line of lOth Street, N. W.
and the South West Corner of Lot l, City Block 51, and the North West
Corner of Lot 9, City Block 51, lying adjacent to the South Boundary
Lines of Lots 1 through 5 and adjacent to the North Boundary Lines of
Lots 6 through 9, all in City Block 51; and,
WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City Council
that the alley is not desired by the property owners adjacent to said
alley and that said alley is of no use to the City of Paris, and, there-
fore, no necessity exists therefor; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the Mayor of the City of Paris, James M. Brunette, be,
and he is hereby authorized to execute a quit claim to 7-1/2 feet of
the 15 foot alley being closed to the adjacent owners on either side
of said alley, it appearing that the real and true owners of the here-
inafter described lots out of City Block 51 are as follows:
