1712 RES CITY COUNCIL AT ITS SPECIAL MEETING ON AUGUST 25 1975 APPROVED ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDSRESOLUTION NO. 1712
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas,
did, at its Special Council Meeting on August 25, 1975, approve the
advertisement for bids for the renovation of the City Hall, Paris,
Texas, in accordance with detailed specifications, which bids were
received until 10:00 o'clock A. M. , Wednesday, October 8, 1975; and,
WHEREAS, the best bid for said renovation was made by
Harrison & Walker Construction Company, Paris, Texas, and it should
be awarded the contract for such renovation; and,
WHEREAS, the form of contract to complete the renovation is
attached hereto as Exhibit A; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the bid of Harrison & Walker Construction Company,
Paris, Texas, for the renovation of the City Hall, Paris, Texas, in
the amount of $ 125, 521. 00, is hereby accepted and let; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor of the City of
Paris, James M. Brunette, be, and he is hereby authorized and di -
rected to execute on behalf of the City of Paris, the contract for
renovation of the City Hall, Paris, Texas, with Harrison & Walker
Construction Company, upon the terms and conditions and in the
form shown in Exhibit A attached hereto.
