1707 RES CITY COUNCIL ON 13TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER 1971 IN RES NO 1444 AUTHORIZED SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS TO TX WATER QUALITY BOARDRESOLUTION NO. 1707
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas,
did on the 13th day of September, 1971, in Resolution No. 1444, au-
thorize the submission of applications to Texas Water Quality Board
and Environmental Protection Agency for PL-660 grants, to Texas
Water Quality Board and Texas Water Development Board for loans,
and to Texas Water Quality Board for an amendment to the Waste
Water Permit of the City of Paris; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend or enlarge the grant appli-
cations for additional necessary improvements to the 4. 61 MGD
Sewage Treatment Plant heretofore authorized; and,
WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Paris, Kerry R.
Sweatt, or his successor, should be authorized to execute and de-
liver on behalf of the City of Paris any applications, agreements,
change orders, communications, instruments and documents n ec -
cessary for the completion of the original project; NOW, THERE-
FORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That Kerry R. Sweatt, City Manager, or his successor, be
and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver on
behalf of the City of Paris any applications, agreements, change
orders, communications, instruments and documents necessary for
the completion of the 4. 61 MGD Sewage Treatment Plant project,
to Texas Water Quality Board and Environmental Protection Agency
for PL-660 grants, to Texas Water Quality Board and Texas Water
Development Board for loans, and to Texas Water Quality Board for
an amendment to the Waste Water Permit of the City of Paris.
