WHEREAS, the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, is a member of
the Ark-Tex Council of Governments; and,
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Bylaws of the Ark Tex

WHEREAS, the City of Paris is entitled to appoint three mem-
bers of the Board of Directors of Ark-Tex Council of Governments
as provided in the Bylaws of the same; and,
WHEREAS, Brad Hutchison, who was heretofore appointed as a
member of said Board of Directors has resigned from said Board,
and James M. Brunette, Mayor of the City of Paris, recommends the
appointment by the City Council of the City of Paris of Lloyd S.
Sterling to fill thev n r
is duly qualified or t lled or until be becomes disqualif d to so
serve; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That Lloyd S. Sterling, be, and he is hereby appointed as a
member of the Board of Directors of Ark-Tex Council of Governments,
to serve until his successor is duly qualified or installed, or until he
becomes disqualified to so serve.
