1666 RES CITY COUNCIL AT ITS MEETING ON 10TH DAY OF FEBRUARY 1975 APPROVED ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDSRESOLUTION NO. 1666 ,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did at its
Council Meeting on the lOth day of Februa.ry, 1975, approve the ad-
vertisement for bids for resurfacing six tennis courts in Culbertson
Park in accordance with detailed plans and specifications, which bids
were received until 10:00 o'clock A. M., March 5, 1975; and,
WHEREAS, the best bid for said project was made by
Ed Kinsey, Route l, Box 302, Fayetteville, Arkansas, and he should
be awarded the contract for such project; and,
WHEREAS, the form of contract to construct said project is
attached hereto as Exhibit A; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the b.id of Ed Kinsey, to construct to completion within
thirty (30) calendar days, resurfacing of six tennis courts in
Culbertson Park, in the amount of $8, 386. 00, is hereby accepted and
let, conditioned upon said contractor meeting all of the terms and
specifications included in the bid documents; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor of the City of
Paris, James M. Brunette, be, and he is hereby authorized and
directed to execute on behalf of the City of Paris, the contract with
Ed I<insey for resurfacing six tennis courts in Culbertson Park, upon
the terms and conditions and in the form shown in Exhibit A attached
hereto.
