1671 RES CITY MANAGER OF COP EXECUTED AND TRANSMITTED PREAPPLICATION FOR FEDERAL ASSISTANCE FOR STREET, WATER ETCRESOLUTION NO. 1671 ,
WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Paris has heretofore
executed and transmitted Preapplication for Federal Assistance for
Street, Water, Sewer and Drainage Improvements Project, requesting
Federal Funding in the amount of $300, 000. 00 from the Department of
Housing & Urban Development, a copy of which is attached hereto as
Exhibit A; and,
WHEREAS, in order for said preapplication to receive proper
consideration, it is necessary, right and proper that the City Council
of the City of Paris do, in all things, confirm and ratify the action of
the City Manager in making said Preapplication for Federal Assistance;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the action of the City Manager, K. R. Sweatt, in com -
pleting and executing Preapplication for Federal Assistance, attached
hereto as Exhibit A, be, and the same is hereby, in all things, con-
firmed and ratified.
