1674 RES CITY COUNCIL DEEMS IT NECESSARY AND PROEPR TO APPLY FOR FEDERAL GRANTRESOLUTION NO. 1674
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris,
Texas, deems it necessary and proper to apply for a federal grant
under the Federal Water Pollution Control Act Amendments of 1972,
Public Law 92 500, and the rules and regulations pursuant thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That Kerry R. Sweatt, City Manager of the City of Paris, or
his successor, be authorized to execute in behalf of the City of Paris
all grant applications, communications, documents, assurances, no-
tices and other project related items in making application for a
grant under Public Law 92-500 and the rules and regulations pur-
suant thereto, and to sign the acceptance of the grant, when made,
and any other necessary documents required to complete the project
on behalf of the City of Paris.
