1676 RES COP IS DESIROUS OF DEVELOPMENT OF PROJECT CONCERNED WITH INFILTRATION/INFLOW ANALYSIS ETCRESOLUTION NO. 1676 ,
WHEREAS, the City of Paris is desirous of development of a
project concerned with infiltration/inflow analysis, studies, surveys
and evaluations; environmental assessments and evaluations; project
coordination; and project development within the guidelines of the
Texas Water Quality Board and the Environmental Protection Agency;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did by
Resolution No. 1376 passed on the 8th day of June, 1970, commission
Hayter Engineering to conduct an engineering study for the enlarge -
ment of the City of Paris Sanitary Sewage Treatment Plant and re-
lated planning; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Paris, thereafter on the 13th day of
August, 1970, entered into an agreement with Hayter Engineering to
provide such services; and,
WHEREAS, such contract with Addendum No. 1 attached hereto
as Exhibit A and made a part thereof, will provide for the engineer -
ing services necessary to accomplish the project under consideration;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the Mayor of the City of Paris, James M. Brunette, be,
and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the
City of Paris, Addendum No. 1 to Agreement for Engineering
Services heretofore entered into by the City of Paris with Hayter
Engineering, dated August 13, 1970, in the form attached hereto as
Exhibit A.

Agreement for Engineering Services

WHEREAS Robert B. Ilayter, dba Hayter Engineering and
the City of Paris, actin.g by and through it's duly authorized
Mayor, did jointly enter into an agreement dated August 13, 1970,
for Engineering Services for improvements to the city's seUaage
treatmerit facilities and development of an area wide sewerage
system; an.d
WHEkEAS both parLies mutually agree that said contract
covers other engineering services as may be required in the
development of the project, i.e. infiltration/inflow analysis,
studies, surveys, arld evalua.tions; environmental assessments
and evaluations; pro j ect coordination; and -the pro j ect develop-
ment within the guidelines o.f_' the TWQB and the EPA.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT AGREED to by the parties hereto
that the following additions aild modifications are made too
and a part of said contract.
