1677 RES CITY COUNCIL IS AWARE OF CONTRIBUTIONS OF ITS CITIZEN GEORGIA B BASSANORESOLUTION NO. 1677 .
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris is well aware
of the contributions of its citizen, Georgia B. Bassano, and deems
it right and proper that her community services be made of re-
cord; and,
WHEREAS, Georgia B. Bassano has given unselfishly to the
affairs of her community by service in the King's Daughters, of
which she has been a member more than twenty -three years,
which is resulting in the International Order of the King's Daughters
and Sons, Texas Branch Convention being held April 2, 1975, being
dedicated to her; serving as a Ruling Elder and Church Member of
the Central United Presbyterian Church; and participating in the
Chamber of Commerce Community Development Programs; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That Georgia B. Bassano be commended for her contributions
to the betterment of the City of Paris.
