1679 RES COP OPERATES COX FIELD AS ITS MUNICIPAL AIRPORTRESOLUTION NO. 1679
WHEREAS, the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, operates Cox Field
as its Municipal Airport; and,
WHEREAS, in Resolution No. 1594 the City of Paris, in com-
pliance with Part 107, Federal Aviation Regulations, adopted a Master
Security Plan, which, in compliance with Part 107. 4 of said regulations,
said City is required to provide a Law Enforcement Officer; and,
WHEREAS, Frontier Airlines, Inc. , the certificated air carrier
serving Paris is desirous to contribute toward the furnishing of such
Law Enforcement Officer, under the terms and conditions and in the
form of the Armed Guard Security Agreement attached hereto as
Exhibit A; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris deems it in
the best interest of the City of Paris to enter into said agreement with
Frontier Airlines, Inc. ; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the City of Paris enter into agreement with Frontier
Airlines, Inc. to furnish a Law Enforcement Officer as required by
F. A. R. Part 107. 4, upon the terms and conditions and in the form
of Armed Guard Security Agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City Manager of the
City of Paris, Kerry R. Sweatt, be, and he is hereby authorized and
directed to execute on behalf of the City of Paris the Armed Guard
Security Agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A.

Operator") and PRONTIER AIRLINES, INC., a Tlevada Corporation, (herein-

covering Airport Security effective February 6, 1973 and as there-
after amended by the Federal Aviation Administration to provide a
Law Enforcement Officer; ana

curred by the Airport Operator in provi.ding such Law Enfor.cement
Officer;
NOW, TFiEREFORE, Airport Operator and Frontier herehy agree
to tiie following terms and conditions:
1. Airport Operator hereby agrees to comply wit'li

effective February 6, 1973 and as thereafter
amendecl by the Federal Aviation 2d.ministration.
Any Laia I:nforcement Off.icers employed under
this program will be under the Airport Opera-
tor's exclusive direction and control antl the
Airport Operator assumes responsibility £or their
perfornance on the job.
Frontier hereby agrees to pay to Airnort

EXHIBIT A
3. Commencing January 1, 1975 and continuing
until cancelled as hereinafter pxovided,
Frontier agrees to pay to Aixport Opexatox and
Airport Operator agxees to accept as Frontier's
totaT contribution and obligation relative to
F.A.R. Part 107.4 the following monthly amount,
payable within thirty (30) days of receipt of
invoice:
Three Hundred and Five Dollars
($305.00)
In the event of temporaxy interxuption of
service due to labor dispute or other reasoi:s
beyond the control of Frontier, the monthly
paymezit of $ 305.00 vTill be reduced bV 1/30th
of this amount fpr each day on which no
scheuuled clepartures occur.

in such a manner as to increase or decrease
the direct, added out of pocket expense in-

A. Revocation of F.A.R. Part 107.4

B. Any other program which would make
funds directly available to the Air-
port Opez-ator to cover costs incurred
under F.A.R. Part 107.4.
C. The order or the action of the Civil
Aeronautics Board terminati,ng, sus-
pending or relieving Frontier's right
or obligation to operate in.to and from
said airport.
