RESOLUTION NO, 1681 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris is desirous of participating in the manpower program under the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act of 1973, as amended; and, WHEREAS, the City of Paris has been precluded from operat- ing such manpower delivery system under the present guidelines; and, WHEREAS, the Ark-Tex Council of Governments can provide such service under the Act and contracted through the Texas Department of Community Affairs, Austin, Texas; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That Ark-Tex Council of Governments, be, and the same is hereby authorized and requested to operate manpower program activities in the City of Paris, Texas.
