1682 RES COP IS INVESTIGATING WORK PROJECT AT COX FIELDRESOLUTION NO. 1682 .
WHEREAS, the City of Paris
at Cox Field, Paris, Texas, in order
Runway and build "T" hangars; and,
is investigating a work project
to extend the North-South
WHEREAS, the Southerly extension requires the encroachment
upon property heretofore leased to S. J. Embry; and,
WHEREAS, on area North of the maintenance hangar and West
of the north bound taxi-way requires the encroachment upon property
heretofore leased to S. J. Embry; and,
WHEREAS, an area North of the "T" hangar area and West of
the northbound taxi-way being used as an aerial spray loading area
requires the encroachment upon the property heretofore leased to
S. J. Embry; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary that the City of Paris re-acquire
full surface rights to a portion of such property and to restrict the
use of other property heretofore leased to S. J. Embry, all of which
has been encompassed in the addendum to lease contract dated
January 1, 1970, between the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, Lessor,
and S. J. Embry, Lessee, attached hereto as Exhibit A; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the Mayor of the City of Paris, James M. Brunette, be,
and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the
City of Paris, Addendum No. 1 to Lease Contract dated January l,
1970, between City of Paris, Paris, Texas, Lessor, and S. J. Embry,
Lessee, .in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A.
