1607 RES CITY COUNCIL ADOPTED COMPREHENSIVE AMENDMENT TO ZONING ORDINANCES OF COPRESOLUTION NO. 1607 ,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did adopt
a comprehensive amendment to the Zoning Ordinances of the City
of Paris, which amendment was Ordinance No. 1710 adopted on the
12th day of April, 1965, which adopted a land use map; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, in
Ordinance No. 1679, enacted on the 13th day of July, 1964, did zone
property belonging to Glynn Phillips as a"G" Commercial District
shortly before the passage of Ordinance No. 1710; and,
WHEREAS, the land use map erroneously did not reflect
the total area zoned by Ordinance No. 1679 in the new zoning
district established as ueneral Retail; and,
WHEREAS, the Zoning Map of the City of Paris should be
corrected to show the following described land as General Retail:
Situated in Lamar County, Texas, within the
corporate limits of the City of Paris, and being all of
Lot 26 and part of Lot 25, in Block No. A of Johnson
Woods Estate, or 154 feet fronting on Clarksville
Street, with a depth of 140 feet fronting on Johnson
Woods Drive.
Being No. 3015 Clarksville Street.
AND, WHEREAS, in order to correct the apparent error,
the property is hereby referred to the Planning and Zoning
Commission for its recommendation concerning the zoning of the
same; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PARIS, That the property hereinabove described, be, and the
same is hereby referred to the Planning and Zoning Commission
of the City of Paris for its recommendations concerning the proper
zoning of the same; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a public hearing be
held before the Planning and Zoning Commission concerning said
property, at 7:00 0' clock P. M. , in the Council Room, City Hall,
Paris, Texas, on the 6th day of May, 1974, and that a public
hearing be held before the City Council of the City of Paris at 7:00
o'clock P. M. , in the Council Room, City Hall, Paris, Texas, on the
13th day of May, 1974.
