1614 RES COP IS A MEMBER OF ARK-TEX COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTSRESOLUTION NO. 1614
WHEREAS, the City of Paris, Pari.s, Texas, is a member
of the Ark-Tex Council of Governments; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Bylaws of the Ark-Tex
Council of Governments the Board of Directors of same shall be
composed of inembers elected or appointed by the membership;
and,
WHEREAS, the City of Paris is entitled to appoint three mem -
bers of the Board of Directors of Ark Tex Council of Governments as
provided in the Bylaws of the same; and,
WHEREAS, James M. Brunette, Mayor of the City of Paris,
recommends the appointment by the City Council of the City of Paris
of W. M. (Dub) Moore as Director of the Ark-Tex Council of Govern-
ments until his successor is duly qualified or installed or until he
becomes disqualified to so serve; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PARIS, That W. M. (Dub) Moore be, and he is hereby appointed as
a member of the Board of Directors of Ark-Tex Council of Governments,
to serve until his successor is duly qualified or installed, or until he
becomes disqualified to so serve.
