1622 RES COP IS A MEMBER OF ARK-TEX COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTSRESOLUTION NO. 1622 .
WHEREAS, the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, is a member of
the Ark-Tex Council of Governments; and,
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Bylaws of the Ark Tex
Council of Governments the Board of Directors of same shall be
composed of inembers elected or appointed by the membership;
and,
WHEREAS, the City of Paris is entitled to appoint three mem-
bers of the Board of Directors of Ark-Tex Council of Governments
as provided in the Bylaws of the same; and,
WHEREAS, James M. Brunette, Mayor of the City of Paris,
recommends the appointment by the City Council of the City of Paris
of Brad Hutchison as Director of the Ark-Tex Council of Governments
until his successor is duly qualified or installed or until he becomes
disqualified to so serve; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That Brad Hutchison be, and he is hereby appointed as a
member of the Board of Directors of Ark-Tex Council of Governments,
to serve until his successor is duly qualified or installed, or until he
becomes disqualified to so serve.
