1633 RES CITY COUNCIL APPROVED ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDSRESOLUTION NO. 1633 ,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has heretofore
approved the advertisement for bids for a diesel powered crawler
tractor dozer in accordance with detailed specifications dated
September, 1974, which bids were received until 10:00 0' clock A. M. ,
Wednesday, September 4, 1974; and,
WHEREAS, the best bid for said diesel powered crawler tractor
dozer was made by Plains Machinery Company and it should be awarded
the contract for such tractor; and,
WHEREAS, the form of contract to furnish the diesel powered
crawler tractor dozer is attached hereto as Exhibit A; NOW, THERE-
FORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the bid of Plains Machinery Company, to furnish a diesel
powered crawler tractor dozer, in the amount of $99, 466. 00, is hereby
accepted and let; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor of the City of
Paris, James M. Brunette, be, and he is hereby authorized and di-
rected to execute on behalf of the City of Paris the contract to fur-
nish diesel powered crawler tractor dozer between the City of Paris
and the Plains Machinery Company, upon the terms and conditions and
in the form as shown in Exhibit A attached hereto.
Passed and adopted this 9th day of September, 1974.
