1636 RES CITY COUNCIL IN RES NO 1625 JOINED IN PROMOTION OF AMERICAN REVOLUTION BICENTENNIAL CELEBRATIONRESOLUTION NO. 1636 .
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore,
in Resolution No. 1625, join in the promotion of the American
Revolution Bicentennial Celebration to occur in 1976; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Paris did join with Lamar County in
appointing a Bicentennial Committee to make recommendations con-
cerning said celebration; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris is in receipt and
agreement with the Bicentennial Committee's project recommendations
attached hereto as Exhibit A; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the Bicentennial Committee's project recommendations,
attached hereto as Exhibit A, be, and the same are hereby endorsed
by the City of Paris.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the endorsement herein con-
tained does not include committment of funds nor the agreement to
commit funds in the current or future budgets of the City of Paris.
