1638 RES COP IS A MEMBER OF ARK-TEX COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTSRESOLUTION NO. 1638
WHEREAS, the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, is a member of the
Ark-Tex Council of Governments; and,
WHEREA.S, in accordance with the Bylaws of the Ark Tex Council
of Governments the Board of Directors of same shall be composed of
members elected or appointed by the membership; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Paris is entitled to appoint three members
of the Board of Directors of Ark-Tex Council of Governments as pro-
vided in the Bylaws of the same; and,
WHEREAS, James M. Brunette, Mayor of the City of Paris,
recommends the appointment by the City Council of the City of Paris
of Joe King as Director of the Ark-Tex Council of Governments until
his successor is duly qualified or installed or until he becomes dis-
qualified to so serve; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That Joe King be, and he is hereby appointed as a member of
the Board of Directors of Ark-Tex Council of Governments, to serve
until his successor is duly qualif.ied or installed, or until he becomes
disqualified to so serve.
