1647 RES BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF PARIS PUBLIC LIBRARY SHALL CONSIST OF 5 MEMBERSRESOLUTION NO. 1647
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Paris Public Library
shall consist of not less than five (5) members nor more than twelve
(12) members, in accordance with Section 17 -16 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Paris; and,
WHEREAS, Sam Stone and D. Bradley Hutchison have resigned
as members of the Board of Directors of the Paris Public Library;
and,
WHEREAS, as required by said Section 17-16, the Bca rd of
Directors has heretofore recommended F. D. Mallory, III and
Dee Cunningham to fill the vacancies created by said resignations;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PARIS, That F. D. Mallory, III and Dee Cunningham, residents
of the City of Paris, be, and they are hereby appointed to serve as
members of the Board of Directors of the Paris Public Library
through June 30, 1975, or until their successors are appointed.
