1586 RES CONSTRUCTION OF FM HIGHWAY NO 137 HAS BEEN COMPLETEDRESOLUTION NO. 1586 .
WHEREAS, construction on F. M. Highway No. 137 from Loop
Highway No. 286 in Paris to 0. 9 mile North has been completed; and,
WHEREAS, a portion of the old right-of-way for this highway
may be considered by the Texas Highway Commission to be no longer
needed for highway purposes; and,
WHEREAS, the State of Texas through the Texas Highway
Department proposes to convey said right-of-way to the abutting
property owners; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the old right -of -way proposed to be conveyed to the
abutting owners is no longer needed for the use of citizens for road
purposes and concurs with the State's proposal to convey the 0. 498
acre tract described by metes and bounds in attached Exhibit A to
Wayne Y. Anderson and also concurs in the State's proposal to con-
vey the 0. 281 acre tract described by metes and bounds in Exhibit B
to James D. Fox.

recorded in Volume 549, Page 48, of the Deed Records of Zamar County, Texas, said
point being N 52° 49' W a distance of 126.47 feet from centerline survey station
60+90,98 of said highway, said point also being N 77° 55` E a distance of 1170 feet
from the southwest corner of a 6 acre tract of land conveyed to James D. Fox by South-
west Sprayer and Chemical Company by deed dated the 9th day of March, 1971, and recorded
