1577 RES CITY COUNCIL CONSIDERED PETITION OF GREAT STATE PACKING CO FOR REZONINGRESOLUTTON N0. 1577 .
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore
consider the petition of Great State Packing Company for the re -zoning
of Lots 12 and 13, Block 1, Henry Smith's Second Addition, and Lot
17, City Block 251-A, from a Light Industrial District (LI), Animal
Slaughtering Plant and Smoke Cooking Operation (S) to a Heavy
Industrial District (HI), Animal Slaughtering Plant, Smoke Cooking
Operation and Rendering Plant (S); and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris is desirous that
a full hearing be given petitioner, both before the Planning and Zoning
Commission and the City Council; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That a public hearing is set before the Planning and Zoning
Commission at 7:00 o'clock P. M. , on the 6th day of August, 1973,
and a public hearing is set before the City Council at 7:00 0' clock
P. M. , on the 13th day of August, 1973, for the consideration of said
Great State Packing Company's application for re-zoning.
