1574 RES CITY COUNCIL CONTINUES ITS INTEREST IN UPGRADING LAW ENFORCEMENT CAPABILITIES OF COPRESOLUTION NO. 1574 .
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris continues its
interest in upgrading the law enforcement capabilities of the City of
Paris; and,
WHEREAS, the Criminal Justice Council of the State of Texas,
acting through its Criminal Justice Coordinator of Ark-Tex Council of
Governments, is making available to Police Departments certain tech-
nical equipment at reduced cost; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, upon the
recommendation of the Chief of Police, deems it justifiable and ad-
visable that the following equipment be purchased:
1. One (1) Crime Scene Detector Kit
2. Three (3) Gray, Four (4) Drawer, Legal Size
Filing Cabinets with Locks
3. One (1) Evidence Bag Sealer with 500 Bags
in Assorted Sizes
4. Ten Thousand (10, 000) each of Six (6)

AND, WHEREAS, the Director of Finance reports that $129.51
is available to be used for such purpose; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the items enumerated above be purchased at a cost of
$129. 51.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance,
H. C. Greene, be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to pay
to the State of Texas $129. 51 for said purchase.
