1561 RES ARTICLE 4436a-1 REQUIRES ADVISORY BOARD OF HEALTH TO HAVE 7 MEMBERSRESOi,UTION NO. 1561 ,
WIIEREAS, Article 4436a-1 of Vernon's Annotated Civil
Statutes requires thax the Advisory F3oard of Ilealth of the City of
Paris and County of I.,amar shall consist of seven (7) members
who are resident citizens of Lamar County who have resided within
the County for a period of more than three (3) years next preced-
ing the time of their appointment; and,
WHEREAS, the terms of office of James Carl Deatherage
and Mrs. Robert Norment on the Advisory Board of Health of the
City of Paris and County of Lamar, will expire on June 30, 1973;
a nd,
WIIEREAS, it is necessary to replace or re-appoint two
persons to fill t11e vacancies which will be created by the expira-
tion of their terms; and,
WI-IEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, F. D.
Mallory, III, has recommended the re-appointment of James Carl
Deatherage and Mrs. Robert Norment, who continue to be qualified,
to serve on said Advisory Board of ftealth of the City of Paris and
County of Lamar, for a term of two (2) years, beginning July 1,
1973 and expiring June 30, 1975; NOW, TI-IEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That James Carl Deatherage and Mrs. Robert Norment, be
re-appointed as members to serve on the Advisory Board of Health
of the City of Paris and County of Lamar for a term of two (2)
years, beginning July 1, 1973 and expiring June 30, 1975.
