1547 RES CITY COUNCIL PASSED AND ADOPTED ON 13TH DAY OF DECEMBER 1971 RES NO 1464 REQUESTING ASSISTANCE IN RECONSTRUCTION AND PARTIAL RELOCATION OF FM RD 1507RESOLUTION NO. 1547 .
WHERFAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris,
Texas, passed and adopted on the 13th day of December, 1971,
Resolution No. 1464, requesting assistance in the reconstruc-
tion and partial relocation of Farm-to-Market Road 1507, ex-
tending from State Highway 24 Easterly to road intersection,
a distance of approximately 2.0 miles; and,
Wf.3ERFAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris,
Texas, now desires to amend and modify and does h ereby amend
and modify the second paragraph of said Resolution to read as
follows, to-wit:
"WHERFAS, the City Council of the City of Paris,
Paris, Texas, has requested assistance in the recon-
struction, partial relocation and widening to four
lanes Farm-to-Market Road 1507, extending from State
Highway No. 24, same being Church Street, easterly
to the East Boundary Line of the new Paris High
School tract of land approximately 1.6 miles; NOW,
THEREFORE,"
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
That the second paragraph of Resolution No. 1464 be rescinded,
canceled and held for naught; and, that the next above para-
graph be, and the same is hereby made the second paragraph of
said Resolution No. 1464.
