tnT"rIERFAS, J. E. Albright did retire as Director of Public
Works of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, on the 31st day of
January, 1973; and,
WT3EREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, joined
by the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris,
deems it right and proper that special recognition be given
this gentleman who has directed the Department of Public Works
for thirteen years, during which the number of employees al-
most doubled, 54 miles of street were added, the Public Works
Budget went from $366,000.00 to almost $1,700,000.00 and the
Capital Improvements Budget went from $32,000.00 to
$663, 000. 00; NOW, THF,REFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
That J. E. Albright be, and he is hereby
