1539 RES CITY COUNCIL ADVERTISED FOR BIDSRFSOLUTION NO. 1539
WHgZEAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did here-
tofore advertise for bids for the installation of approximately
540 feet of 24 inch reinforced concrete steel cylinder pipe ad-
jacent to Loop 286 N. E.; and,
WIiEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did at its
regular meeting on December 11, 1972, receive bids and au-
thorized a committee, composed of Councilman Rainey, Councilman
Whitaker, John Cooke and Acting City Manager H. C. Greene, to
award the bid for the installation of approximately 540 feet of
24 inch reinforced concrete steel cylinder pipe; and,
WHEREAS, thereafter said contract was awarded to Shull
Construction Company, Euless, Texas, which bid was in the
amount of $10, 000. 00; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
That the Mayor of the City of Paris, James W. Farris, be,and
he is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of
the City of Paris, Paxis, Texas, a construction contract with
Shull Construction Company in the aznount of $10,000.00, for the
installation of approximately 540 feet of 24 inch reinforced
concrete steel cylinder pipe adjacent to Loop 286 N. E.
Passed and adopted this 8th day of January, 1973.
