1538 RES CITY COUNCIL ESTABLISHED AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARDRESOLUTION NO. 1538
WHEFZEAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris,
Texas has heretofore established an Airport Advisory Board to
act in an advisory capacity to the City Council in relation
to the Municipal Airport, its operation and facilities; said
Board to consist of a chairman and six members for term.s of
three (3) years; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris finds that
it is to the best interest of the City of Paris that said
board membership be reduced to five members; and,
W'HEREA,S, the terms of all members expired December 31,
1972; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, James W. Farris,
does hereby recommend the appointment of Nathan Bell, B. M.
Felty, J. B. Lowry, Lawrence Mann and Richard Rex, as members;
NOinT, THERFFORE,
BE IT RFSOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
That the Airport Advisory Board hereafter consist of five
members; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That Nathan Bell, B. M. Felty,
J. B. Lowry, Lawrence Mann and Richard Rex, be appointed
members of the Airport Advisory Board to serve from January 8,
1973 through December 31, 1975.
