1536 RES DR C E GILMORE TENDERED HIS RESIGNATION FROM P&Z COMMRESOLUTION NO. 1536
WHEREAS, Dr. C. E. Gilmore has tendered his resignation
from the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris;
and,
WHEREAS, Dr. Gilmore has served on that Commission from
its inception on January 12, 1950, having served as Chairman
for six years; and,
WHEREA.S, the City Council of the City of Paris and the
citizens of Paris will be ever grateful for Dr. Gilmore's de-
votion to the betterment of the City of Paris, which was con-
stantly expressed by his outstanding leadership and sense of
fairness while serving on the Planning and Zoning Commission
of the City of Paris; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RFSOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
That we here and now express to Dr. C. E. Gilmore our full
and complete appreciation for his years of service on the
Planning and Zoning Commission and for his chairmanship on
said Commission forsix years, and we do here and now extend
to him our best wishes for his future welfare and for his
continued interest in the future of the City of Paris.
