1523 RES COP HAS BEEN WORKING IN COOPERATION WITH COUNTY OF LAMAR AND TX HIGHWAY DEPT IN ACQUISITION OF ROWRFSOi.UTION NO. 1523
WHEREAS, the City of Paris has been working in cooperation
with the County of Lamar and the Texas Highway Department in the
acquisition of right of way for the improvement of Loop Highway
286 N. E., from U. S. Highway 271 North to U. S. Highway 271
East; a.nd,
WHEREAS, it is to the advantage of the City of Paris to
provide curb and gutter in lieu of purchasing additional right
of way from Paris Manor Nursing Home; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RFSOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
That Texas Highway Department Minute Order No. 66670, passed
October 5, 1972, which provides for the City of Paris to con-
struct axi estimated 224 feet of curb and gutter in lieu of
right of way from Paris Manor Nursing Home, is, in all things,
approved, axld the Mayor of the City of Paris, James W. Farris,
is authorized and directed to execute said Minute Order on be-
half of the City of Paris denoting its approval, if requested.
