1522 RES BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF PARIS PUBLIC LIBRARY RECOMMENDED FELIX GIBSON BE APPOINTED TO BOARD OF DIRECTORSRESOLUTION NO. 1522
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Paris Public Library
has recommended that Felix Gibson be appointed to the Board of
Directors of the Paris Public Library, in order to fill the va-
cancy created by the resignation of F-pps Hill, said appointment
to become effective immediately an d continue through December 31,
1973, or until his successor is appointed; and,
WHEREAS, under Section 17-16 of the Code of Ordinances of
the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, it is necessary that said
appointment be made by the City Council upon recommendation of
the Library Board; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RFSOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
That Felix Gibson, who resides within the corporate limits of
the City of Paris, Texas, be, and he is hereby appointed to
serve as a member of the Board of Directors of the Paris Public
Library through December 31, 1973, or until his successor is
appointed.
