1513 RES CITY COUNCIL IS INTERESTED IN PROCURING EASEMENTS AND ROWSRFSOLUTION NO. 1513 ,
WHIIZEAS, the City Council of the City of Paris is interested
in procuring easements and rights of way through the proposed
Jefferson Heights Addition to the City of Paris; and,
WHEREAS, prior to the time of annexation of said area,
Ralph E. Ingram had constructed upon proposed Lot 9, Block B, of
Jefferson Heights Addition to the City of Paris, upon a concrete
slab, a shed, near the North West Corner of said lot, upon pro-
perty desired for utility easement and which would be dedicated
for easement upon Final Plat of Jefferson Heights, prepared but
not yet fully executed; and,
WHEREAS, Ralph E. Ingram has agreed to execute the plat of
the proposed Jefferson Heights Addition, which would grant to the
City of Paris a 12 foot easement across the West end of Lot 9 and
a 7.5 foot easement across the South side of said Lot 9, if he is
assured by the City of Paris that his storage building would not
be harmed because of its location upon the proposed utility ease-
ment ; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT R ESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS2
That the Mayor of the City of Paris, James W. Farris, be, and he
is hereby authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the
City of Paris, an agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto
as Exhibit A, to protect the storage building upon proposed Lot 9,
Block B, of the Jefferson Heights Addition to the City of Paris,
currently owned by Ralph E. Ingram, from disturbance while using
the utility easements thereunder.
