1498 RES BEEN CALLED TO ATTENTION OF CITY COUNCIL DESCRIBED PROPERTY CHANGED FROM ONE-FAMILY DISTRICT TO PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICTRFSGLUTION NO. 1498
WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City
Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, that the herein-
after described property, belonging to Denman-Hyde Construction
Company, was at the request of Anthony E. F. Howard, a person
then having an interest in said property, by Ordinance No. 2015,
passed May 10, 1971, changed from a One-Family Dwelling District
No. 2(SF-2) to a Planned Development District (PD), Community
Unit Development; and,
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Council that when
property re-zoned for the purpose of development to some zoning
other than that of the adjacent property, that af'ter a reason-
able period of time without the proposed development occurring,
that said property should be back zoned to the classification
it previously had; and,
WHEZFAS, the property herein being considered, is de-
scribed as follows:
Beginning at a point 399 feet South 1 degree West
of the intersection of the West Boundary Line of Lot
31, City Block 259, with the proposed South Right of
Way Line of Loop 286 N. E. ;
Thence East 196 feet to a point in the proposed
West Boundary Line of 28th Street, N. E.;
Thence South 1 degree West 322 feet with the pro-
posed West Boundary Line of 28th Street, N. E. to a
point;
Thence North 89 degrees West 120 feet to a point;
Thence South 10 degrees West 548 feet to a point;
Thence North 89 degrees West 475 feet to a point;
Thence North 1 degree West 710 f'eet to a point;
Thence East 505 feet to a point;
Thence North 1 degree East 155 feet to the place
of beginning, containing 10 acres, more or less.
Being a Part of Lots 15, 31 and 33, City Block
259.
NOW, THEZEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PARIS, That the herein described property, belonging to
Denman-Hyde Construction Company, is hereby referred to the
Planning and Zoning Commission for the purpose of considering
an amendment to Zoning Ordinance No. 1710, to change said pro-
perty from a Planned Development District (PD), Community Unit
Development, to a One-Family Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2);
and,
BE IT FURTHER RFSOLVED, that a public hearing be held by
and before the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas,
at 7:00 o'clock P. M., on the 14th day of August, 1972, in
connection with the proposed re-zoning of the above described
property.
