1442-A RES BEEN CALLED TO ATTENTION OF CITY COUNCIL THAT SYCAMORE ST WAS DEDICATED THEREINRESOLUTION N0. 1442-A, WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, that Sycamore Street, from the West Boundary Line of 6th Street, S. E., West 115 feet to the South West Corner of Lot l, Block l, and the North West Corner of Lot 1, Block 9, of the Texas and Pacific Railway Company Additio n to the City of Paris, as shown by the plat of said Addition, recorded in Book 53, Page 445, Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas, was dedicated therein; and, WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City Council of the City of Paris that, that portion of Sycamore Street has never been used as a street and no necessity or beneficial use exists therefor, and that there is a common pro- perty owner on each side of the portion of Sycamore Street so described, who does not wish to use it as a street; NOW, THERE- FORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, That the Mayor of the City of Paris, James W. Farris, be, and he is hereby authorized to execute a quit claim deed to Vernon Westbrook, Sr., the present owner of Lot 1, Block 1, and Lot 1, Block 9, of the Texas and Pacific Railway Company Addition to the City of Paris.
