1436 RES BEEN CALLED TO ATTENTION OF CITY COUNCIL THAT TRACTS 1 AND 2 AND 3 CHANGED FROM AGRICULTURAL TO PLANNED DEVELOPMENTFZFSOLUTION NO. 1436
WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention o.f the City
Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, that Tracts 1, 2
and 3, hereinafter described, belonging to Pemco Development
Corp., were at its request, by Ordinance No. 1965, passed
June 8, 1970, changed from an Agricultural District (A) to a
Planned Development District (PD), Shopping Center, in the
case of Tract l; from an Agricultural District (A), One-Family
Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2) and Heavy Industrial District
(HI) to a Planned Development District (PD), Housing Develop-
ment or Community Unit Development, in the case of Tract 2;
and from an Agricultural District (A) and Heavy Industrial
District (HI) to a Planned Development District (PD),
Industrial Park or District, in the case of Tract 3; and,
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Council that when
property re-zoned for the purpose of development to some zon-
ing other than that of the adjacent property, that after a
reasonable period of time without the proposed development
occurring, that said property should be back zoned to the
classification it previously had; and,
WHEREAS, the property herein being consid ered, is de-
scribed in three tracts,as follows:
TRACT 1: Situated within the Corporate Limits of
the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas,
a part of the Asa Jarman Survey, and being more parti-
cularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a stake for corner in the South
Boundary Line of W. Washington St., said point being
300 ft. West of the West Boundaxy Line of 13th S. W.;
THENCE South a distance of 345 ft. to a stake :Eor
corner;
THENCE South 58 Deg. West along the center of a
Power Line a distance of 210 ft. to a stake for corner;
THEIVCE North 42 Deg. West along the center of a
ditch a distance of 620 ft. to a stake for corner;
THENCE East along the South Boundary Line of W.
Washington St. a distance of 595 ft. to the place of
beginning, and containing 3.84 acres, more or less.
TRACT 2: Situated within the Corporate Limits of
the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas,
a part of the Asa Jarman Survey, and being more parti-

of the South Boundary Line of W. Washington St. with
the West Boundary Line of 13th S. W.;

BEGINNING at a Rail set in ground for a corner;
said point being the point of intersection of the North
Boundary Line of the Texas & Pacific Ry. Co. R.O.W. and
the West Boundary Line of the G.C. & S.F. Ry. Co. R.O.W.;
THENCE North 21 Deg. Ea.st with the West Boundary
Line of Santa Fe R.O.W., 383 ft. to an I.P. for a corner;
THENCE West 2586 feet to an I. P. for a corne r; said
point being in the East Boundary Line of a County Road;
THENC E South with the East Boundary Line of said
County Road 947.5 feet to an I.P. for a corner; same
being in the North Boundary Line of the Texas & Pacific
Ry. Co. R.O.W.;
THENCE North 76 Deg. Ea.st with the North Boundary
Line of the T& P Ry. Co. R.O.W., 2516 feet to the
place of beginning, and containing 36.775 acres of
land, more or less.
NOW, THFREFORE, BE IT RFSOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TExAS, That Tracts 1, 2 and 3, herein de-
scribed, belonging to Pemco Development Corp., are hereby re-
ferred to the Planning and Zonin g Commission for the purpose of
considering an amendment to Zoning Ordinance No. 1710, to change
Tract 1 from a Planned Development District (PD), Shopping
Center, to an Agricultural District (A); Tract 2 from a Planned
Development District (PD), Housing Development or Community Unit
Development, to an Agricultxal District (A), One-Family Dwelling
District No. 2(SF-2) and Heavy Industrial District (HI); and
Tract 3 from a Planned Development District (PD), Industrial
Park or District,to an Agricultural District (A) and Heavy
Industrial District (HI); and,
