1419 RES COP IS PARTICIPATING IN PROCUREMENT OF ROW FOR EXPANSION OF LOOP 286 NERFSOLUTION NO. 1419
WHEZFAS, the City of Paris is participating in the procure-
ment of right of way for the expansion of Loop 286 N. E. ; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Paris owns property adjacent to
Central Manufacturing Company's tract bordering said Loop 286
N. E., being Lot 7, City Block 276; and,
WHEREAS, said right of way required to be procured from
Central Manufacturing Company has been designated Parcel 7 by
the Texas Highway Department, containing 0.339 acres, as the
same appears on Sheet 5 of Project No. RW 8001-1-22; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Paris has agreed to convey the follow-
ing described property, being a part of Lot 6, City Block 276,
to Central Manufacturing Company, in exchange for said Right of
Way Parcel 7, to-wit:
Situated in the corporate limits of the City of
Paris, County of Lamar, State of Texas, a part of the
Redding Russell Survey and being a tract of land con-
veyed to the City of Paris by deed as recorded in
Vol. 238, Page 621, Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas.
Beginning at a stake for corner, said point being
in the proposed South ROW Line of Loop Highway 286 and
also being S 220 O1' W a distance of 43.8 feet from the
present North West Corner of said City of Paris tract;
Thence S 22° Ol' W a distance of 273.2 feet along
the West property line of Lot 7, City Block 276 belong-
ing to Central Manu.facturing Company;
Thence S 870 50' E a distance of 265 feet to a
point that is the North East Corner of Lot 2, City
Block 276;
- Thence S 0° OS' E along the Ea,st Boundary Line of
Lot 2, City Block 276 a distance of 300 feet to a point
that is the North West Corner of Lot 3, City Block 276;
Thence S 89° 45' E with the North Boundary Line of
said Lot 3 a distance of 50 feet to a point;
Thence N 00 05' W a distance of 456 feet to a
point in the proposed South Boundary Line of Loop
Highway 286;
Thence N 730 51' W with said ROW Line a distance
of 104.4 feet to a point;
Thence continuing along said ROW Line N 56° 10' W
a distance of 128.7 feet to the place of beginning and
containing 1.633 acres.
NOW, THEREF'ORE, BE IT RFSOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TF.XAS, That the Mayor of the City of
Passed and adopted this lOth day of May, 1971.
