1388 RES PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND SAFETY OF CITIZENS OF COP WOULD BE SERVED BY IMPROVEMENT OF FM 137RESOLUTION NO. 1388
WHEREAS, the public convenience and safety of the citi-
zens of the City of Paris, the County of Lamar and the
surrounding area, would be well served by the improvement of
Farm to Market Road 137 from Loop 286 S. W. in a North
Easterly direction a distance of approximately 0.9 mile; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has
heretofore requested the cooperation of the Texas Highway
Department in making said improvement; and,
WHERFAS, the Highway Commission of the State of Texas
did in its Minute Order No. 64253, passed October 2, 1970,
agree to cooperate with the City of Paris in improvement of
said Farm to Market Road 137; NOW, THER EFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, That Highway Commission Minute Order No. 64253,
passed October 2, 1970, setting up a cooperative project on
F.M. 137, from Loop 286 S. W. in a North Ea,sterly direction
0.9 mile, be, and the same is hereby accepted.
