1354 RES CITY COUNCIL DEEMS IT ADVISABLE TO ESTABLISH AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARDRESOLUTION NO. ,1354~
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris,
Texas, deems it advisable to establish an Airport Advisory
Board to act in an advisory capacity to the City Council in
relation to the Municipal Airport, its operation and facili-
ties, said Board to consist of a chairman and six members for
terms of three (3) years; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, B. M. Felty,
has recommended to the City Council the appointment of the
following persons for initial appointment to the Airport
Advisory Board: V. E. Stewart, Jimmy Wrenn, Ralph Klint, Al
Pivonka, O. A. Broussard, III, Dr. Lawrence Mann and Loyd
Mathews ; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, That the recommendations of the Mayor that the
following be appointed to serve as members of the Airport
Advisory Board for terms of three (3) years, beginning
January 1, 1970 and ending December 31, 1972; V. E. Stewart,
Chairman, and Jimmy Wrenn, Ralph Klint, Al Pivonka, O. A.
Broussard, III, Dr. Lawrence Mann and Loyd Mathews, Members,
are by the City Council of the City of Paris hereby approved
and confirmed.
Passed and adopted this 12th day of January, 1970.
