1352 RES COP DESIRES TO CONSTRUCT SEWAGE TREATMENT WORKSRESCLUTION NO. 1352
WHEREAS, the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, desires to con-
struct sewage treatment works and proposes to file an applica-
tion through the State Water Pollution Control Agency to the
Federal Water Pollution Control Administration for federal
grant under Public Law 660, as amended; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS:
1. That, prior to completion of the project, will
provide an operation and maintenance manual for
the facilities which is acceptable to the State
Water Pollution Control Agency and the Federal
Water Pollution Control Administration and will
fulfill the tasks of operation and maintenance
of the facilities after completion in accordance
with the manual.
2. Will employ qualified personnel in accordance
with the recommendations or requirements of the
State iniater Pollution Control Agency to operate
the sewage treatment plant; and, will require
its consulting engineer or agent to provide cer-
tain on-the-job training for employees during
start-up of the facilities.
3. Estimate that the cost for operation and main-
tenance will be approximately $86,000.00 per annum.
