1349 RES CITY COUNCIL DEEMS IT ADVISABLE TO ESTABLISH ANIMAL ADVISORY BOARDRESOLUTION NO. 1349
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris,
Texas, deems it advisable to establish an Animal Advisory Board
to act in an advisory capacity to the City Council, to consist
of the President of The La.mar County Humane Association, the
Chairman of the Board of The Lamar County Humane Association, a
practicing veterinarian, a livestock commission merchant and
three additional members, all of which must either reside within
or do business within the corporate limits of the City of Paris,
for the following terms :

Association - Ed Bretz
Veterinarian - Dr. D. A. Ensey, Jr.
Livestock Commission Merchant- Clyde L. Darnell
Member - Joyce Mask
Member - Don Blackburn
Member - Duran Davis
NOW, THER EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, That the recommendations of the
Mayor that the following be appointed to serve as members of
the Animal Advisory Board, for the terms set out in connection
with their names, as follows: Audrey Melvin, beginning January 1,
1970 during her tenure as President of The Lamar County Humane
Association; Ed Bretz, beginning January 1, 1970 during his tenure
as Chairman of the Board of The Lamar County Humane Association; Dr.
D. A. Ensey, Jr. , beginning January 1, 1970 until successor
appointed; Clyde L. Darnell, beginning January 1, 1970 until
successor appointed; Joyce Mask, beginning January 1, 1970 and
ending December 31, 1971; Don Blackburn, beginning January 1, 1970
and ending December 31, 1971; and Dur an Davis, beginning
January l, 1970 and ending December 31,1971,are by the City
Council of the City of Paris hereby approved and confirmed.
