1337 RES MRS LLOYD M DESHONG RESIGNED AS MEMBER OF BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF PARIS PUBLIC LIBRARYRESOLUTION NO. 1337
WHEREAS, Mrs. Lloyd M. DeShong has resigned as a member of
the Board of Directors of the Paris Public Library; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Paris Public Library,
pursuant to Ordinance No. 1439, has recommended that Frank L.
McClure be appointed to the Board of Directors of the Paris Public
Library to fill the vacancy created by Mrs. DeShong's resignation,
said appointment to become effective immediately and continue un-
til June 30, 1970, or until his successor is appointed; and,
WHER EAS, under Ordinance No. 1439, it is necessary that such
recommendation be confirmed by the City Council; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RFSOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, That the appointment of Frank L. McClure, who re-
sides within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, Texas, to
serve as a member of the Board of Directors of the Paris Public
Library through June 30, 1970, or until his successor is appointed,
be, and it is hereby confirmed.
