1336 RES COP HAS BEEN USING PROPERTY OWNED BY JOHN KRAFT SESAME CORP AS ACCESS ROUTERESOLUTION NO. 1336 . WHEREAS, the City of Paris has for some time been using property owned by the John Kraft Sesame Corporation as an access route to its Ground Storage Tank in the vicinity of the John Kraft Sesame Plant, said route being used in lieu of a City owned access, because the same is direct and considerably shorter; and, WHEREAS, John Kraft Sesame Corporation is agreeable to the exchange of the property being used by the City as an access route for the property owned, but not used by the City, which property would be of no use to the City upon the acquisition of the access route presently being used; and, W'HEREAS, the City owned tract is only 50 feet in width and would have no value to any property owner other than an adjoin- ing property owner, and there are only two adjoining property owners, that being John Kraft Sesame Corporation and St. Louis- San Francisco Railway Company, whose right of way is adjacent to the West Boundary Line of a portion of the property; and, WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that it is to the advantage and best interest of the City of Paris to exchange the City's 0.43 acre tract, being a part of the Redding Russell Survey and being a part of a 1.399 acre tract of land conveyed the City of Paris by deed recorded in Vol. 331, Page 425, Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas, for the John Kraft Sesame Corporation's 0.23 acre tract, which is a part of the Redding Russell Survey and a part of a 1.23 acre tract of land conveyed the John Kraft Sesame Corporation by deed recorded in Vol. 460, Page 468, Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, That R. A. Kennedy, Mayor of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to, upon receipt of a generalwarranty deed from John Kraft Sesame Corporation to the 0.23 acre tract heretofore described, execute and deliver a general warranty deed to John Kraft Sesame Corporation conveying the 0.43 acre tract heretofore described.
