1335 RES H C KENNEMER OF PARIS SERVED COP AS DIRECTOR OF FINANCE FROM JULY 26 1957 TO MAY 1 1960RESOLUTION NO. 1335
WHEREAS, H. C. Kennemer of Paris, Texas, served the City
of Paris as Director of Finance from July 26, 1957 to May 1,
1960; and,
WHEREAS, H. C. Kennemer served the City of Paris as City
Manager from May l, 1960 through May 31, 1969; and,
WHEREAS, his leadership,during the time he served in
each capacity, had a profound influence upon the City of Paris'
economic position, which became one of financial stability, of
which all connected with the City of Paris' government and the
citizens of Paris can be and are proud; and,
WHEREAS, his counsel and advice to the City Council and
to the members of the respective Boards and Commissions has
been of such a nature that the City of Paris has progressed
and gained for him the respect and admiration of all who have
had the privilege of serving with him in any capacity; and,
WHII2EAS, he departed this life on the 2nd day of
September, 1969; NOW, THEREFOR E,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TFXAS, That this resolution be spread upon the minutes
of the City Council of the City of Paris in commemoration of
the outstanding service rendered to the City of Paris by H. C.
Kennemer as Director of Finance and City Manager, and it is
further resolved that a copy of this resolution be furnished
to his family.
