1333 RES COP RECENTLY BECAME MEMBER OF ARK-TEX COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTSRFSOLUTION NO. 1333
WHEREAS, the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, has recently
become a member of the Ark-Tex Council of Governments; and,
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Bylaws of the Ark-Tex
Council of Governments the Board of Directors of same shall
be composed of inembers elected or appointed by the membership;
and,
WHEREAS, the City of Paris is entitled to appoint three
members of the Board of Directors of Ark-Tex Council of
Governments as provided in the Bylaws of the same; and,
WHEREAS, R. A. Kennedy, Mayor of the City of Paris,
recommends the appointment by the City Council of the City
of Paris, of B. M. Felty, James W. Farris and H. C. Westfall,
as Directors of the Ark-Tex Council of Go vernments through
May 31, 1970, or until their successors are duly qualified or
installed; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RES OLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, That B. M. Felty, James W. Farris and H. C.
Westfall, be, and they are hereby appointed as members of the
Board of Directors of Ark-Tex Council of Governments, to serve
through May 31, 1970, or until their successors are duly quali-
fied or installed.
